The focus of this event is to identify some of the challenges faced in electric vehicles and autonomous vehicles with powering the remote sensing requirements, and discuss how some of them might be addressed by the use of self powered solutions, drawing their energy from ambient sources such as heat, vibration, light and motion.

Identify the challenges faced in electric and autonomous vehicles, and the potential Energy Harvesting based solutions

This event, in collaboration with Warwick Manufacturing Group (WMG), is part of a series of activity from the Energy Harvesting Special Interest Group (SIG), run by KTN, to bring together the challenge owners and solution providers in the UK.

The focus of the event is to identify some of the challenges faced in electric vehicles and autonomous vehicles with powering the remote sensing requirements, and discuss in small groups how some of them might be addressed by the use of self powered solutions, drawing their energy from ambient sources such as heat, vibration, light and motion.

The event is open to all, and we hope to mix industry users with researchers and solution providers for a lively discussion and identification of needs and solutions.
